Post season madness will return to the Fieldhouse this Saturday. The fourth-ranked Men's basketball team has received one of three byes given out in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. On Thursday, Clairmont-Mudd-Scripps will play Chapman University in the first round of the tournament. Thursday's victor will venture up to the Inland Northwest to take on the Bucs in the Fieldhouse this Saturday at 7:00pm. The first 300 students will get free admission to the game, but those arriving late will need to bring $3 for admittance.

In other sports action, the Men's Tennis team will host Willamette this Friday at the Cutter courts. On Saturday the men will welcome Lewis & Clark to the Scotford Tennis Center in hopes of picking up a NWC weekend sweep and put themselves at 4-2 in the conference standings. The women's team will hit the road to take on Willamette on Friday followed by matches against Lewis & Clark and George Fox on Saturday. Currently the women are undefeated in the NWC with a perfect mark of 5-0. They are the 2009 defending NWC champions.

Baseball will depart for California a second time as they take on Menlo College in a three game set this weekend. The team is seeking to hit full stride as they wrap up their nonconference schedule this weekend and begin conference play next weekend against UPS in Tacoma.

The long awaited start to the 2010 softball season will get under way this weekend. After a month of practice the team will start the season with a four game series against PLU in Tacoma.

Men's and Women's golf teams will cruise over to Moses Lake this weekend for the North Idaho/Whitman Invitational. The teams are hoping to build off momentum from the fall where they finished second in the NWC classic.

Lastly, the Men's and Women's Track team will trek down to Willamette for the annual Willamette open. Both teams are aiming to continually improve and qualify athletes for the Outdoor Nationals. This will be the last outdoor meet until the team heads off to San Diego to compete in the Point Loma Nazarene invite.
