Brittany Roach

Year: Freshman
Major: Political science
Minors:Possibly English

Who are you?
I am from Hillsboro, Ore. (basically Portland). I'm random, dedicated, hard-working and a little crazy (aren't we all). My favorite color is blue, but I enjoy playing with all colors of the spectrum (why discriminate?). I would love to meet as many people as possible and am super excited about my college experience so come by and say hi.

What do you do and why is it important?
I serve as a support to the Stewart senator and as a voice of my dorm community. This is important because I am a liaison and a go-to for student concerns. I am there to represent Stewart, Shalom and Keola and to help ASWU do all we can to make Whitworth even better.

What main issues or ideas do you hope to focus on while you serve on ASWU?
The main issue I hope to work on is school climate by planning events that are inclusive and interesting.

What is at least one common misconception about your work or ASWU?
I don't know what a misconception is, but everyone should know that ASWU works their tail-ends off to better Whitworth. Also, that ASWU is committed to the school.

What is important for students to know about your work?
It's important to know that I am always available to listen to student concerns or if you have any ideas for Whitworth. Shoot me an e-mail at broach12@whitworth.edu or just stop by my room in Shalom.
