Who are you?
My name is Beau Lamb. I'm from Hillsboro, Oreg. I'm currently serving as one of the Arend dorm reps and am a sophomore here at Whitworth hoping to become a microbiologist in the not so distant future.
What do you do and why is it important?
Basically I'm an extra hand for the senator and another person whom students can discuss their problems/concerns/ideas with regarding the dorm.
What main issues or ideas do you hope to focus on while you serve on ASWU?
Sustainability issues on campus
What is at least one common misconception about your work or ASWU?
It's definitely been one of those jobs you need to take initiative on and find ways you can serve your dorm and campus, rather then wait for someone to tell you what needs to be done.
What is important for students to know about your work?
I'm going to try and actually so something worthy of recognition and appreciation during my duration as dorm rep this year.
