Get to know ASWU
The Associated Students of Whitworth University is the student government of Whitworth University, comprised of three executive officers, senators and representatives for each residence hall group, and a variety of coordinators. The Assembly holds public meetings every Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the ASWU Chambers, upstairs in the Hixson Union Building. ASWU's principle duties, as outlined in the governing body's constitution, are: (1) to insure that all students are represented fairly to the student body, administration, faculty and staff, and community; and (2) to address all exigencies that affect the students of Whitworth University.
The mission of ASWU, as determined annually by its members, is: "Through integrated efforts and respectful communication, the Associated Students of Whitworth University strive to serve our community by being internally supportive and externally united."
