"Journey to the North Pole" Holiday Cruises
When: Friday, Nov. 29 through Monday, Dec. 31, with departure times of 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Where: Lake Coeur d'Alene
What: Cruises that tour the holiday lights and decorations on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Each tour runs 40 minutes and tours leave 30 minutes prior to departure time.
Cost: $14.75
Downtown Horse and Carriage Rides
When: Runs through Monday, Dec. 24. and is offered Fridays, 3-8 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays, 12-5 p.m.; Dec. 24, 12-3 p.m.
Where: The corner of Main St. and Wall St., Downtown Spokane
What: Horse and carriage rides that tour the holiday decorations and lights of downtown Spokane. Sponsored by Spokane Teachers Credit Union and Downtown Business Improvement District.
Cost: Free
"The Christmas Schooner"
When: Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec 2 at 2 p.m.
Where: Spokane Civic Theatre, Main Stage.
What: A Christmas musical written by John Reeger will be performed at the Spokane Civic Theatre at 1020 N. Howard St. through the weekend of Dec. 16.
Cost: $12-18
David Bazan
When: Sunday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m.
Where: Empyrean Coffee House
What: Independent musician David Bazan will be performing at the Empyrean Coffee House with special guests J. Tillman and Kevin Long.
Cost: $10
Gonzaga University Holiday Concert
When: Sunday, Dec. 2, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Bing Crosby Theater, downtown
What: Gonzaga University's Symphony Orchestra with pianist Simone Dinnerstein will be performing holiday classics at the Bing Crosby Theater. Shuttles to the event leave from St. Aloysius Church at 6:45 and 7:10.
