The Whitworth women's swim team finished their weekend sweep through Oregon Saturday, lapping host Willamette University 129-65.

The team managed to win eight of the 12 events, easily clinching the victory for the Pirates.

Both senior Sam Kephart and sophomore Natalie Turner followed up their two wins Friday with wins in the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley, 200-yard backstroke, respectively.

Freshman Ashley Lecoq won the 50-yard freestyle, junior Brittany Gresset won the 500-yard freestyle, and freshman Kelly Reynolds won the 200-yard breaststroke.

The women also won the 400-yard freestyle relay to complete the series.

Next the swimmers will be trekking to the University of Washington for the Husky Invitational from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2. The meet will start at 5 p.m. that Friday.
