Megan, thanks for letting me know... It was the term Stephen used when I asked him to classify his art so its what I had to go with! What you said totally makes sense though.

Be definition "realism" is not what Rue paints. Check your art book glossary before confusing "realism" with "naturalism." While it makes a nice title... it's an artist's pet peeve when the term "realism" is thrown around.
