Need another roommate? Want to get rid of that chemistry textbook you couldn't sell back at the bookstore? Buy a classified in the print or online editions of The Whitworthian.
Classified advertising: One classified ad with 20 words (or less) per week is free to students and faculty of Whitworth University with a school e-mail address. For those outside of the university, $3 minimum for 20 words (or less) to run for a week online or in a week's print edition. 20 cents each additional word. The Whitworthian reserves the right to reject any ads in violation of the advertising acceptance policy.
Discounts: Run an ad in both editions for $5. If you run an ad in both editions for four consecutive weeks, the fifth week is free.
Categories: Classifieds ads are accepted in the following categories: autos, books, employment, furniture/household items, internships, lost/stolen items, pets, rentals, sales and technology. If you do not see a category that fits your ad, please contact the advertising manager.
Deadlines: Deadline for ads for the print edition is Friday at 5 p.m. The deadline for online classifieds is one business day prior to the desired date of publication.
Payment: Prepayment is required. Only checks or cash can be accepted. You can drop off your payment and ad copy at the Info Desk in the Hixson Union Building on campus or mail it to: The Whitworthian, Classified Advertising, 300 W. Hawthorne Road, Spokane, WA, 99251. Ads may be canceled before the expiration date but there will be NO REFUNDS.
Note: If you submit your ad online, you will be contacted to confirm your ad and about payment. If you are not a member of the university, your ad will not be activated until payment is received.
